Delete Your Data

You have the right to delete your Culinary Advisor account and the personal data we've stored about you. This page explains how to request deletion and what we remove.

How to request deletion

Email info@culinaryadvisor.ai from the address associated with your Culinary Advisor account. Use the subject line "Delete my account".

We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete

When we process your request, we remove:

  • Your account and profile (name, email, authentication details)
  • Your saved recipes and recipe library
  • Your conversation history with chef personas
  • Your personalized recipes and view history
  • Any images, notes, or other content you uploaded or generated
  • Your subscription link (the subscription itself is cancelled through Stripe)

What we cannot delete

Some records are retained after account deletion when the law requires it:

  • Financial transaction records for tax and accounting compliance (typically 7 years)
  • Records we are legally obligated to preserve for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory purposes

Where possible, we anonymize these records so they cannot be linked to you personally.

If you signed in with Facebook

Deleting your Culinary Advisor account removes the data Culinary Advisor stores about you. It does not delete your Facebook account or any information Facebook itself holds about you.

If you only want to disconnect Facebook from Culinary Advisor without deleting your account, you can remove the Culinary Advisor app from your Facebook account:

  1. Open Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Select Apps and Websites.
  3. Find Culinary Advisor in the list and click Remove.
